Mosites is a local construction management, general contracting, and property and real estate developer. Our team has worked with Mosites since 2012, and they returned to Blue Archer when it was time for a website redesign.
The Challenge
Mosites has a diverse range of services to fit both building and heavy construction as well as real estate development needs. However, many prospective clients perceived Mosites as a major player strictly in the heavy construction space. The redesigned website needed to not only expand the perception of services for users but also simplify the internal administration of website content for Mosites employees.
The Solution
Our team redesigned and redeveloped a project portfolio that highlights projects in each of Mosites’ 3 divisions. By transforming much of the existing static website content into database driven dictionaries, our developers greatly simplified the management and update process for Mosites team members. A new employee intranet also improves HR processes by enabling team members to securely log in and view confidential internal information.
Modernized Design
Many of the construction development businesses in the area had websites with a similar look and feel. For this project, we really wanted to differentiate Mosites and give them a brand refresh that would enable them to stand out in their crowded industry. We worked with the orange from the existing logo and explored complimentary secondary colors included a muted gray and black. By incorporating the M from the logo throughout the design as a branded motif, our designers were able to ensure the new website preserved the established, professional tone.

Improving the Functionality
In many ways, Mosites had outgrown their existing website design and the functionality. Our developers built a brand new project portfolio to house important project specs and imagery. We also created a new employee database to showcase Mosites’ experience through their leadership. The addition of an employee intranet enables Mosites to have their own employees log into the site to view and upload confidential documents, view upcoming events, and discuss updates through a bulletin board function.
As always, we built this website to grow alongside Mosites. Our designers and developers worked together to create a new and improved property development module that will ensure website users can view and request information on properties and explore existing vacancies.
Conclusion
We were thrilled to build an updated website for long-time client, Mosites, that will grow with their business for years to come. The new website fits the growing needs of construction development website users who prefer to explore project imagery and specs in an intuitive, simplistic way. Internally, Mosites can now enjoy simplified internal processes through their intranet. We look forward to continuing to support Mosites with future website needs as their business continues to grow and evolve.
