Irish entrepreneuers have discovered a way to create a more convenient way to make online payments, while British entrepreneurs have created the most unique social network to date. We will also look into what Microsoft might announce on September 30th.
Irish Innovation
Irish Entrepreneur’s John and Patrick Collison have created a solution to facilitate online payments. A lot of online businesses use instruments such as PayPal to handle any transaction. Yet, John had noticed how it was more of an inconvenient step, so him and his brother thought of Apple Pay, which allows you to finalize any purchases within the same website. Twitter had offered them a billion dollars, but the brothers held onto their start-up.

Windows on the Horizon
It has been noted that the words “Windows 9” were uttered by Alain Crozier, who is the CEO of Microsoft France, at a speech to their employees earlier this week. Microsoft has followed up that statement with another one stating: “On September 30, we will be providing an update on what’s next for Windows and the enterprise. There are some who say that Microsoft made this statement as more of a hedging strategy than anything.

Say Ello to the Future of Social Media
It seems that the lack of business strategy taken on by the creators of Ello might actually be their silver lining. Ello is a social network that has not been talked about much because of lack of marketing push, and disconnection with Silicon Valley. Yet users are joining in fluxes. Humans are curious creatures and when something grabs their attention that remains a mystery, the more attention it draws.
