Google's New Plan for Startups
Google has good news for new startups! If you are an early stage startup, Google wants to give you $100,00 in Cloud Platform credits for one year so you can host your applications on its servers. The offer is part of Google’s Cloud Platform for Startups initiative, a new program the company’s senior vice president for its technical infrastructure.

Facebook Updates for Developers
Facebook has announced new updates that make it easier for developers to find the products they need based on the industry, see updates about developer services and API’s, and make Parse apps remotely configurable. For starters, there’s a new industry-focused section on the Facebook Developer site.

Which Mobile Carrier is the Best?
Now that Apple has unveiled its newest version of the iPhone- iPhone 6, mobile carriers are practically falling over one another in a fight for consumer business. Spring, T-mobile, Verizon, AT&T and Walmart are all working on different deals to attract the most demand. It looks like the days of paying $200 up front for a phone are over for many customers.

Yahoo's legal Struggles
In 2008, the U.S. government threatened to find Yahoo $250,000 a day if it didn’t hand over user data as part of the NSA’s controversial PRISM program. The document outlines Yahoo’s legal struggle to challenge the U.S. surveillance laws. Yahoo lost it’s legal battle and had to provide the re quested email metadata.
