Established Pittsburgh CPA Firm gets a facelift

Sisterson is one of the largest independent and locally-owned certified public accounting and financial consulting firms in western Pennsylvania. For ninety-plus years, they’ve offered audit and assurance, tax, consulting, commercial lending, and technology services to their broad range of customers. 

Blue Archer has been working with Sisterson for 10 years. When approached to do a site redesign, we were super excited to tackle the challenge. They were after a modern design, with a classic and established feel. 

We began the redesign with a modified strategy session, discussing the restructuring of the existing sitemap. Our focus here was the site user. What are they searching for? How can we best serve the information to them? There was also a lot of discussion about the content. We needed to find a way to trim it down, and group it logically in manageable and digestible chunks. The result is a well structured and organized site, delivering information that site users are seeking. 

The design approach was simple – keep the classic colors of Sisterson: gold, green, white. Show the history and stability of the firm, yet add modern touches. We incorporated sleek lines, bold imagery, and clear visual breaks that lead the site user through the content.

Blue Archer’s AccuCMS content management system was upgraded as well. Sisterson has complete control of all website content, including their customizable forms, static page content, their navigation, and imagery.
