The year is coming to an end, and we are enjoying the Holidays. 2014 was a great year for this digital marketer, and we all are looking forward to 2015.
With that being said, our social media campaigns would be nothing without our favorite influencers. We have learned and shared so much insight from others in the industry. We attended the Social Media Success Summit 2014 and listened to so many great speakers. Each day we would try to learn more and more.
Here is a round-up of our favorite Holiday posts from some of our influences. There are people out there that we look up to that were not included. No, this is not because we hate you, you just did not post anything for the Holidays.
Simply Measured
Simply Measured keeps us up-to-date on current trends, but they also had us laughing with their newest holiday video. Basically, it sums up our profession, and what it is like to deal with the family asking, "So, what do you do for a living?"
Thanks for keeping us smiling! Now we actually know what to say to Grandma.
Copy Blogger
Like Simply Measured, Copy Blogger has never failed to keep us in the loop. They took a more serious, inspiring approach this season with how to manage New Year's promises.
In A Nutshell:
- No more New Year’s resolutions
- Start now
- Take small steps
They take a wonderful approach to your resolutions. Basically, it is not about making unrealistic promises. If you want to change, you need to do it now and be realistic.
HubSpot
Hubspot was possibly one of my biggest influences early in my digital marketing career. Their inbound marketing has been a major influence. They also had us cracking up with some weird and wacky Holiday cards.
One of our favorites involving pitching Christmas as an advertising product.
Moz
Where would we be without Moz Pro and all of their great advice? They area must-have when it comes to technical SEO. They also had us smiling with their office Holiday traditions.
We want to thank all of our influences that kept us ontop of everything from marketing to social media to SEO. Most importantly, we also want to thank our readers for all of your support in 2014. We look forward to the new year.
Have a great Holiday and Happy New Year. Don't let Krampus get you!
