      The New York Times leaked to the public their NYT Innovation Report, which addressed what ad agencies are doing wrong. Traditional media organizations are failing to reinvent themselves in a time when readers control when, where, and how they access content. Companies like the Wall Street Journal and The Guardian are operating under the assumption that by producing high quality journalism, readers will seek them out. However, this is a strategy that runs like a printed newspaper.

Netflix vs. Verizon: A Feud Bound to Be A Spectacle

      Netflix and Verizon are head to head for another round. Netflix now displays a message when videos are slow to load that preemptively blames Verizon. Verizon responded Thursday, June 5, with a letter requesting Netflix to stop displaying the message. Netflix is currently looking into ways to let consumers know how their Netflix experience is going.
